高源彩色印刷股份有限公司（前身為春源印刷）於民國四十七年由蔡木春先生創立。

蔡木春是在地的台中人，自十餘歲時即在員林開始他的印刷學習之旅，本著認真學習及謙卑的態度，從撿字、排版、印刷到業務，所有的流程都下了真工夫學習，因此許多印刷上的疑難雜症，都難不倒這位對印刷保有熱誠的年輕人。

三十歲那年（民國四十七年），為了自己的理想與對家人的責任他決定自行創業，帶著自己當學徒所存的錢於台中市南京路開始了他的事業，憑著誠懇的為人及穩定的印刷品質，公司業務蒸蒸日上，民國五十二年因業務量增加，於是將廠房擴充並遷移至中正路，與三個兒子共同來經營。由於生力軍的加入，大家的用心，發揮了各自的專長因此除了業務上的需要，也發覺印刷業必須隨著新時代的來臨一起成長，未來的路才能越走越寬。

民國八十八年再次擴廠並遷至現址（大河街53號）增加印前製版及後加工，形成一貫作業的專業包裝印刷廠，提供客戶更快更好的品質與服務。

經過三代60個寒暑的付出及經驗，現在的高源印刷有歲月的累積及焠鍊，並擁有接受新資訊、新觀念的開放胸襟。

年輕人的衝勁、開闊的視野及眼光，下一個60年，要將印刷的路走的更用心、更穩健，打造一個更好更便利的印刷事業。

60 years of industry experience.  Commitment to quality.

In 1958 MuChung Tsai opened the doors of KaoYian (at that time, it was known as ChungYian) Printing. MuChung Tsai, a Taichung native started learning printing at a young age of 10 in Yuanlin.  As a diligent apprentice, Mr. Tsai started from the bottom and eventually mastered all stages of letterpress printing: composition, imposition, lock-up and printing.

In 1958, in order to provide his family a better life and to fulfill his dream, Mr. Tsai decided to start his own business. With the money made as an apprentice in Yuanlin, Mr. Tsai was able to open his own printing shop on Nanjing Road in Taichung.  Thanks to Mr. Tsai’s dedication to work and commitment to good product quality, demands quickly exceeded the production capacity of the shop, and which led to the decision to move the shop to a larger facility, and Mr. Tsai’s 3 sons also joined the company at that time.

After a couple of years of operations, new technology was introduced and more printing machines were purchased in order to handle ever growing demands; ChungYian then was moved to its current location (Dahe Street) and the company’s name was also officially changed to KaoYian.  At the current location KaoYian is able to form an integrated system to become a one-stop shop offering services ranging from pre-press to post-press.

Being a family run business for 60 years (3 generations) speaks for itself!  Our open attitude toward new technology and extensive industry experience will pave the way for many more years to come.
